1. Who we are
nixiaverse.com (the “Site”) is the website of NIXIA, a music project. The data controller is Woobik di Silva Cordeiro Pedro Henrique, Via Barberini 54, 61040 Monte Porzio (PU), Italy, VAT IT02692610419. You can reach us for anything related to your data at hello@nixiaverse.com.
This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit the Site, subscribe to the newsletter or write to us, why we do it and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Italian law.
2. What we collect and why
Contact form
Your name, email address, the subject you choose, your message and the language of the page. We use them only to answer you and to follow up the conversation you started. Legal basis: your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering it (Art. 6(1)(f)). We keep messages for up to 24 months after the last exchange, then delete them.
Newsletter
Your email address, the language of the page and where you subscribed (for example, the album page). We use double opt-in: nothing is sent until you confirm from the email we send you, and we record the date of subscription and confirmation as proof of consent. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in every email; we then stop writing to you and keep only the minimum record needed to respect your choice.
Analytics
If — and only if — you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and releases people visit. Without your consent no analytics cookie is set and no data is sent to Google for analytics purposes. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer. Details in the Cookie policy.
Security and abuse prevention
To protect the forms from spam we store a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself) for 24 hours to limit the number of attempts. The hosting server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, date, requested page, browser) for a short period for security and troubleshooting. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the Site secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Who processes data on our behalf
- Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) — hosting of the Site, its database and the contact messages.
- MailerLite (UAB MailerLite, Lithuania) — sending the newsletter to confirmed subscribers.
- Google Ireland Ltd. — Google Analytics 4, only with your consent. Google may transfer data to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Each provider acts under a data processing agreement and only on our instructions. We do not sell your data, share it for third-party marketing or use it for automated decision-making.
4. Players and links to other platforms
The Spotify player and YouTube videos are not loaded until you press play or open a video. From that moment Spotify AB or Google (through youtube-nocookie.com) receive your request and apply their own privacy policies. The same is true when you follow a link to a streaming service or social network.
5. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format (Arts. 15–22 GDPR). Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what was done before. Write to hello@nixiaverse.com; we answer within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or with the authority of the EU country where you live.
6. Children
The newsletter and the contact form are not intended for children under 14. We do not knowingly collect their data; if you believe we have, write to us and we will delete it.
7. Changes
We may update this policy when the Site or the services we use change. The date at the top of the page always shows the latest version.
